    Rules & Regulations

    At Channabasaveshwara Gurukula Public School, we aim to cultivate a disciplined and respectful environment that promotes effective learning and personal growth. Our rules and regulations ensure the safety, well-being, and academic success of every student. Adherence to these guidelines is mandatory for all students.

    General Conduct

    School Diary:

    • Every student must bring their school diary daily.

    • Loss of the diary will result in disciplinary action and a fine.

    • A replacement diary must be purchased if the original is lost.

    School Bus Conduct:

    • Indiscipline on the school bus will render the student ineligible for school transportation.

    Care of School Property:

    • Students must take care of all school property and refrain from damaging desks, chairs, walls, or any other school furniture.

    • Any damage must be reported immediately, and the responsible student will be held accountable.

    Prohibited Items:

    • Students are not allowed to bring books (other than textbooks or library books), magazines, or papers to school.

    • Items such as crackers, explosives, and other dangerous materials are strictly forbidden.

    Behaviour Inside School:

    • Running, playing, or shouting inside the school building or on the veranda is not permitted.

    • Students are expected to speak English while on school premises.

    Punctuality:

    • Students must arrive at school by 9:15 AM.

    • Latecomers will not be allowed to attend classes without permission from the Principal.

    Permission to Leave:

    • Students cannot leave the school premises during school hours without permission from the Principal.

    Loss of Property:

    • The school is not responsible for any loss of money, books, clothes, etc.

    • Found articles should be handed over to the school office.

    Dismissal Policy:

    • The school reserves the right to dismiss students whose academic progress or conduct is unsatisfactory.

    • Immorality, insubordination, contempt of authority, or willful damage to property may lead to immediate dismissal.

    Fair Practices:

    • Using unfair means during tests or exams will result in disciplinary action, including dismissal for repeated offenses.

    Sportsmanship:

    • Students are expected to exhibit sportsmanlike behavior both on and off the field.

    • Regular participation in sports and team activities is encouraged.

    Attire:

    • Students are prohibited from wearing gold/silver ornaments or costly watches to school.

    Recommendation to Parents

    Enforcement of Discipline:

    • Parents are expected to enforce regularity and discipline and ensure their children prepare their lessons daily.

    Communication:

    • Parents should communicate any legitimate complaints directly to the Principal without criticizing teachers or the school in front of their children.

    School Communication:

    • When communicating with the Principal, parents should mention their child's name, standard, and section.

    Classroom Visits:

    • Parents should refrain from entering classrooms and conduct all dealings with teachers through the Principal.

    Diary Signatures:

    • Parents must sign remarks in the school diary after reading them to avoid inconvenience for their child.

    Withdrawal Policy:

    • Parents are discouraged from withdrawing their child from classes for social functions, as it may affect their academic progress.

    English Language:

    • As the medium of instruction is English, parents should encourage regular English conversation at home to help their children follow classes effectively.

    Timely Pickup:

    • Parents are requested to pick up their children within 15 minutes after school hours.
